The way that we operate and manage our projects to provide exceptional product quality and service is defined within our Business Management System (BMS). This is simply a framework within which we work, which is then tailored to suit each of our client’s individual needs. This process ensures that every project is managed in the most effective, proactive and specifically tailored way possible.
Procedures outlined in this BMS describe a typical project lifecycle at Optima; from receipt of initial enquiry right through to project handover. Our BMS works to outline design, procurement, health and safety and Quality management tasks, including the processes of internal audit and other mechanisms for quality and business improvement.
Product quality is intrinsic to the success of Optima. Consequently, we are constantly testing and retesting for “fit for purpose” quality at procedural, system and process levels.
Following an independent assessment by BM TRADA, Optima Contracting Ltd and Optima Products Ltd obtained ISO 9001:2008 accreditations.

Part of our commitment is to respond to our clients’ expectation to comply with the Environmental Assessment Methods relevant to our organisation: BREEAM, LEED, SKA and WELL.
To achieve this, Optima operates a purchasing policy that ensure as much material as possible is sourced from recycled materials and from suppliers certified ISO 14001.
Optima is keen in minimising wastage of products, quantity and wastage of packaging and encourages the recovery of any packaging where possible.
Everything we do takes account of our environmental responsibility and works toward maintaining environmentally friendly and sustainable end products. Accordingly, at procedural, system and process levels we are constantly testing and retesting for environmental standards.
