Futurewall is a versatile, demountable, modular bi-panel system. Panels are available in a range of finishes and can be hung vertically or horizontally to sub-divide office spaces. The system offers plenty of scope to create functional backdrops that support height adjustable shelving, cantilevered desks, or storage options. Whatever the specification, Futurewall can be fully integrated with any of Optima’s glass partitioning systems.
At the head there is a pressed steel channel. Its depth is variable to suit the vertical deflection requirements. Up to ±25mm deflection can be accommodated as standard, but greater levels of deflection can be achieved if required. Please contact our Technical Team to discuss your individual requirements.
At the base of the system, there is a pressed steel channel which provides up to 40mm visible shadow gap.
The 18mm thick panels can be hung vertically or horizontally, quickly and easily, to sub-divide office spaces.
Module dimensions and maximum heights are standardised around the available dimensions of the component parts – for example, chipboard/MDF boards and laminate sheets. Taking these constraints into account, the Optima Futurewall system is available as follows:
Maximum Ceiling Height (Vertical Panels): 3000mm as standard
Greater ceiling heights can be accommodated with transomed panels, subject to special order.
Maximum Panel Width (Vertical Panels): 1200mm
Maximum Panel Width (Horizontal Panels): 3000mm
Futurewall is available in a range of finishes including laminate, melamine, pinnable fabric, veneer, whiteboard, vinyl and powder coated steel. Whatever the specification, Futurewall can be fully integrated with any of Optima’s glass partitioning systems.
As with all of our products, Futurewall is laboratory tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and full test reports are available upon request. Futurewall has been tested to achieve a maximum acoustic rating of Rw45dB, using 18mm thick MDF panels and 50mm quilt insulation within the cavity.
