Circle Housing’s new central London office space provided the opportunity to consolidate staff into one building. This was brought on by rapid expansion making Circle Housing one of the UK’s largest providers of affordable homes. In addition, the move would ultimately bring all employees together under one roof. We installed a range of beautifully crafted glass partitions creating a unique office space, designed to reflect a domestic setting. Solutions which serve to create an agile, modern workplace.

The vibrant new office is located at 2 Pancras Square in the heart of the King’s Cross redevelopment. Firstly, Scott Brownrigg created a design which specified an array of interesting features including a key space known as ‘The Home’. Serving as the key breakout space, it provides staff with a relaxed and informal area for work or casual discussion. This was also a key aspect of meeting the client’s requirements for a more collaborative and agile office environment.
In addition, we were specified by renowned architects, Scott Brownrigg, to design and install all glass partitions for the innovative new workplace. The reception area also features a striking Optima-designed single glazed partition installed to work harmoniously with the reception desk. Furthermore, our technical expertise and precise installation ensured that the 12mm thick heat soak toughened glass doors and screens performed effectively and were kept in line with the high standard of the fit-out.
Furthermore, we fitted our glass partitions to the more formal meeting spaces, enhancing the light and airy feel of the offices. Also, our elegant Revolution 54 double glazed system was specified with acoustic laminated glass for maximum sound performance. In addition to acoustic performance, our discreet NebulaTM dry joints between the glass panels complemented the clean lines and crisp details of the overall theme, whilst our toughened glass doors (single glazed Axile Clarity) with Quad pivots were the perfect addition to the spacious, welcoming, and ‘non-corporate’ environment.
In conclusion, staff have now moved into their impressive new offices, we have also made a significant contribution to a distinctive workplace and one that will no doubt result in a happier and more productive workforce.
