Recently completed, Goodluck Hope is a new riverside neighbourhood of over 800 luxury homes located along the River Thames. Situated at the historic Leamouth Peninsula this industrial inspired modern residential development offers dramatic views over East London. Our collection of glass partitions and doors create a contemporary communal lounge space for residents to enjoy. Working alongside architects Allies & Morrison and main contractor Ballymore we provided a relaxed and stylish design where residents can work, meet others and unwind in comfort.

The Optima Special Works (OSW) team created the cosy and elegant shared work-house space in this residential block. Situated on the ground floor it creates an immediately warm and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors.
To create this sophisticated communal space, we installed our popular Revolution Plus 54 Shoreditch Edition double glazed partitions. This attractive and adaptable system creates an open and airy feel whilst preserving a quiet space for residents to relax. Furthermore, the integration of our Shoreditch Edition glass partitions fully encompasses the industrial style of the development. This stunning system also features a slimline aluminium framework which bonds to the glass partitions. As a result, it retains structural stability and acoustic performance, whilst giving the glass an industrial aesthetic.
Moreover, the elegant industrial design of the ground floor area is completed with the installation of our striking Shoreditch Edition Edge Symmetry double glazed door system. The set of single pivot doors with black powder-coated frames reinforce the rustic aesthetic and ties the design together beautifully.
A key design requirement for this project was to maintain a sense of privacy for the residents. In order to do so Project Manager, David Higley and his team installed a reeded manifestation to the bottom two rows of partitions. As a result, this allowed for light to flow into the space whilst still maintaining a level of privacy for its occupants. To increase the degree of privacy in the shared space further the team applied the manifestation in a unique way. Instead of using one layer of reeded manifestation, they installed two in opposing directions, therefore enhancing the level of privacy.
Furthermore, this manifestation was also used for the separate communal working area within the lounge space. Here we installed Optima 117 Plus Shoreditch Edition single glazed partitions, creating a quiet, secluded space. As a result, it offers residents a space where they can work alone or with others away from any disruptions. The addition of the reeded manifestation offers further privacy to the small space whilst accentuating the industrial look.
