Gerard joined Optima in 2005 as a Senior Designer after working in a variety of construction design roles. Having extensive experience working on both commercial and residential projects, Gerard also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Design from The University of Ulster.

Since joining Optima, Gerard has acted as the BIM (Building Information Modelling) Leader for the company. This includes overseeing the introduction of BIM technology; from training through to our everyday use of BIM to enhance all of our products at design phase.

With a dedication to innovation and impressive product knowledge, Gerard provides customers with specialised design expertise and assurance. As an individual he is an inspiring manager who is committed to nurturing a team of talented individuals, and providing a high level of customer service.
