For one of the largest commercial property companies in the UK, a bright and modern space was crucial to accommodate Landsec’s new workplace vision. With over 400 employees housed on a single floor this design aims to improve communication and collaboration. Our acoustically rated glazed partitions help to open up this revolutionary office design. Together with architects, KKS Strategy and main contractor, ISG, we installed a fit-out that promoted activity-based working and employee well-being through inventive and contemporary design.

Landsec’s eco-friendly headquarters highlights how an existing building can adapt to meet the highest health and well-being standards. By becoming the first dual-certified workplace in the world to achieve the level of BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Building Standard® Silver, this impressive renovation sets an international benchmark for sustainable office design.
The open plan office style encourages greater collaboration and interaction between colleagues. With this in mind, our Revolution 100 acoustic glazed partitions allow light to flow through the space, whilst providing an impressive acoustic value of up to Rw51db. As a result, our glazed partitions offer high acoustic performance as well as ensuring natural light can stream freely. Moreover, this accessible floor plan promotes active working, giving employees a variety of different settings for teams to come together.
Furthermore, for privacy, we created several quiet areas and meeting rooms to give employees a space for peaceful and confidential work. In particular, we installed Revolution 54 double glazed partitions in numerous meeting rooms dotted throughout the design. By doing so our acoustic glazed partitions enhanced this sense of openness whilst maintaining privacy in the workplace. In addition, switchable glass partitions provided a versatile and stylish solution that offers instant visual privacy.
Undoubtedly, this employee friendly office boasts many innovative features designed to boost employee well-being from white-noise machines to a roof garden with Wi-Fi. In order to boost agile working in the office a number of interactive room booking systems were installed. Therefore, by integrating smart scheduling devices, allows users to easily book and locate meeting rooms all on one elegant touch screen.
In short, we are incredibly honoured to have been involved in such a ground-breaking project, redefining the way offices are designed.
