As we move into 2020, it’s hard to believe how quick and how successful the past year has been. And with new products in the pipeline, our London Showroom taking more and more bookings each day and our rapidly growing employee headcount, we’re predicting this year has the potential to be bigger and better. We’re sure you’re just as excited as we are to move into the new year. Before we do though, we’re taking some time to reflect on what’s made the past year so remarkable. Read on to see our top 7 highlights from 2019. Awards Firstly, we’d like to say congratulations to those nominated and those who won awards in 2019. Over the past year, we’ve been lucky enough to have had a number of our projects nominated for awards. Early in the year we saw Moneysupermarket shortlisted for a BCO Award, Condé Nast International win a silver award with the FIS and KPMG Edinburgh nominated for the AJ Specification Awards, to name a few. Business growth Our next highlight is the growth of the business. As well as headcount, 2019 saw us grow significantly in terms of capability. Namely, expansion work began on our manufacturing facility near Bath. With completion scheduled for this year, we can’t wait to see the opportunity that this creates. Design capabilities With developments in technologies and new tools available, our design team have worked hard to stay ahead of the curve. They’ve progressed their skills and deepened their knowledge, and for that reason, their efforts have been recognised. We were presented with the Never Stop Learning award by ISG. Well done to everyone in the design team, we’re excited to see your contributions in 2020. Finishes collection A notable highlight for us was of course, the launch of our new finishes range. (Follow the link to order your free sample pack). From chic colours to natural textures, the range is unique and diverse. Launching finishes was an exciting time for us. As a result of a successful promotional campaign alongside our hardworking sales team, the new range has proven popular so far. Showroom launch Equally important was the opening of The London Showroom. As a business, we value quality above all else and want our products to reflect this. Our new showroom space is a wonderful way for us to present our product capabilities and we’re so proud of how well this has kicked off. Well done to everyone involved in creating this stylish space. We can’t wait to show it off to as many people as possible! Charitable efforts Understandably, giving back to the community is an important part of what we do. The past year saw many different activities, some organised by us and some driven by the caring people we have in the business. Our Macmillan Coffee Morning was a huge hit in both of our UK offices (and not just because there was cake!) It brought together different members of the business for a brilliant cause. This is just one example of how our employees demonstrated their ability to give back, and we hope to add to the ever-growing list this year. Our people And finally, but arguably most importantly, our people. Thank you to all of our fantastic team members, from the UK to the UAE, from the installations team to the design team. We couldn’t have had such a successful year without you. 2019 will be a hard year to beat, but we can’t wait to try!
